About Us

Perth Amboy Soccer Club (PASC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the task of promoting and enhancing the culture of soccer. Established in 2016, we now serve more than 150 registered players thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Board of Directors, an energetic support staff, and volunteers. PASC was established to educate, train and inspire youth soccer players of all ages to develop and improve their abilities in a positive, respectful, supportive environment. Feel free to check out our website to see what we're all about!

Why Soccer?

  • Perth Amboy Soccer Club (PASC) believes that sports help our youth to become better contributors to society. Sports will develop traits that will help our youths’ careers, academic success, and happiness with the ability to be teachable, focus and develop a habit of physical activity.

Soccer brings amazing benefits to our youth, such as:

  • Increases confidence: Children learn to be confident on and off the field. Seeing their hard work pay off has a positive impact on their self-esteem.
  • Develop teamwork and Leadership skills: Working as a team to reach a common goal helps children develop communication, social and problem-solving skills. They will learn how to practice, encourage, and motive their teammates on a regular basis.
  • Develops Competitiveness: Being competitive isn’t about being better than everyone else. Kids learn to challenge and compete with themselves to become better every single day.
  • Teaches Commitment: Children will learn how to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Soccer requires commitment, discipline and hard work.
  • Taking Instruction/Better Grades: To be successful, children need to learn how to take instruction. Soccer will teach them to be receptive to instruction and they’ll be able to learn faster which will increase their learning ability.
  • Winning and Losing: Children learn to win and lose with grace, loving the game no matter the outcome. They will learn how to come off a defeat and continue to work hard. They will learn to be happy for other people’s success while still striving for their own success, which is a healthier way to live.
  • Improves health: Exercise is a great way for kids to loosen up and let go. Kids develop lifelong healthy lifestyle habits.
  • And best of ALL… It’s fun! The memories made playing soccer will last a lifetime. Your child(ren) may forget the name of his/her 5th grade Math teacher, but the memory of scoring the winning goal will always stay with him/her
